1. Don’t wash it in the water right away
The process of attaching the custom-designed pattern to the T-shirt is a little bit like the process of healing of skin wound, and it will take some time for the ink to cure appropriately on the fabric. Usually, it is not recommended to immediately wash a just-finished screen-printed T-shirt. It is suggested to keep it for about 3-7 days before washing.
2. Use the proper way to wash the T-shirt
When washing the T-shirt, please turn it inside-out, put it into cold water mixed with mild detergent, then hand wash or machine wash (in the gentle cycle) for a few minutes. Hang to air dry is good for your T-shirt. If you use machine dry please remember to dry it with the lowest possible heat.
3.About iron and steam
When ironing a T-shirt, it is better to place a towel or cloth on the T-shirt and turn the iron to the lowest temperature setting. And please don’t iron it for too long time. You need to pay attention to steaming to avoid steaming directly onto the print.
