Hi everyone, this is Elina from CFM, welcome to CFM’S Webinar. We talked about how to prepare artwork for printing in the last video. And I think you have already got a general idea of how to set up the artwork for a great printing effect. If you miss the live, you can watch the replay on CFM’s website, Youtube Channel, or Vimeo account.

When you have the artwork in hand, what you need to do next is to print the design on your favored products. So in today's video, I will continue with the artwork topic and introduce the artwork uploading and proofing process on our 24hr online ordering system. Let’s dive in and I’ll show you exactly how it works.

First off, let’s see how to upload artwork on CFM:

Different from other online shops, CFM has achieved instant artwork uploading while placing an order. Moreover, there is no maximum size limitation for your artwork on CFM, because we also set up a portal for large file uploading. So no matter whether your artwork is large or small, you can easily complete the uploading.

At CFM, on each product page, there is an Artwork Upload option, and after selecting all the product specifications, you can upload the artwork to proceed with the ordering.

If your artwork size is no more than 200MB, you can upload directly from your computer;

If your artwork size is over 200MB, please go to “My Gallery”, upload the artwork to your CFM account first, and then you can freely select the stored artwork from the gallery when placing the order.

Sometimes under some special situations, for example, you need to replace the current artwork of an order with a larger artwork file, you can also use Wetransfer to send the artwork. But please remember to leave a message and send the file link to our artwork person on the Order Detail page.

After uploading the artwork and placing the order, the next thing you may concern about is the artwork processing. And you may want to ask:

Can I know the status of the proof approval?

Can I get digital proof before printing?

How can I change the artwork if there is something wrong?

So now let’s explore how online artwork approval works on CFM.

At CFM, we have 20 in-house artwork person who works in 3 shifts to ensure 24hr artwork service. And we offer free digital artwork proof for each order before printing. Only when you approve the artwork will your order be printed.

The moment you submit your order, our artwork person will get your artwork. They will check the file format, color, fonts, and resolution of your artwork. If everything is OK, the artwork person will make a digital proof and reupload it to your account for your approval. Then you will be notified by an auto email that you have an artwork waiting for approval.

Login to your CFM online account, go to “My Order”, enter “Order Details” and you will find the “Approve” button. If you are satisfied with the color and layout, you can click “approve” to proceed with the order. Once you click the approve button, your order will be auto-sent to our workshop for printing.

For this point, here is a kind reminder. That is:

Before you click the button for artwork approval, you can freely communicate with our artwork person to revise or change the artwork in the “Order Details” section. But as soon as you click the approve button, the artwork cannot be changed, and hard to pause production, so please check each detail carefully before approving the artwork.

If your art is not good for printing, the designer will send an email notification to you. The usual cases would be low-resolution for printing, damaged files, and unsaved font files. At this point, will need your kind help to provide and re-upload better designs for us.

Besides the above info, a small tip wants to emphasize here is using the correct product template when ordering. It would highly efficiently the artwork processing. As you know, the image format could not be edited. With the correct template and scale, the designer could make proof directly and faster for laying out. Moreover, the resolution would be clear as well.

Ok, that is the end of today’s video, thanks for your watching. If you have any further questions want to discuss, please feel free to email us or contact us via online chat on our website. You can see the information on the screen. Have a nice day, hope to see you in our next video.
